Walbro 450 lph e85 fuel pump diy evo 8/9

It could possibly be the sock being too tight, and hitting the bottom of the tank.. But I've read in this thread; that the sock is designed to not kink and restrict flow. But I'll throw the OEM sock back on and see how it goes.
Sorry, I meant i put a hose clamp around the plastic clips that retains the pump in postition, so it doesn't slip down. Didn't tighten it too much, just enough for all the clips to stay on. Just like in the OP's very last image attachment.
Thanks for the response boys

Installed the pump a couple weeks ago. Took it to tune today and it is sputtering at boost. There's low fuel pressure. Idles and drives fine, only at boost it sputters.
My tuner told me to check the o ring from the single black connector. I took it off now and re placed it carefully. Still the same issue.
Any other ideas?

This guy's solution seems to be the best - eliminating any chance of leaking by directly pumping the fuel to the line, instead of the up/down routing throughout the housing in stock form. I'm just trying to figure out how he connects the actual fuel line to the top fitting. If anyone knows this please chime in.

No, that's the bulkead fitting, I found that on Summit Racing. What I'm asking is how to connect that fitting to the fuel line.
One thing I thought was that he just didn't use the OEM fuel line and replaced it with a flex fuel line using an AN adapter, and just ran the line straight to the fuel rail. Something like this:

you are correct, I use AN line all the way to rail, atl 5/16 to -6 bulkhead, then -6 to -8 adapter, -8 90 connected to AN line, inline -8 filter, -8 to 1/2"npt rail fitting, -8 out of rail to FPR
at work now I will post a pic later

Quick update on this thread.
Last night I swapped pumps with a friend that has the same exact setup. My car is still doing the sputtering/lean condition when going into boost. It is not the pump as we swapped the entire housing.
My guess now is that it is the fuel pressure regulator. I have read a few cases that it goes bad with higher pressure.
