Yep. I'm running this pump with the stock wiring and FPR at 33psi boost with FIC 1050's - no problem. I changed the stock fuse from 15A to 20A to handle the 18A it pulls at full chat. I also changed the load tables to slightly increase the load at which the full voltage is applied to prevent going too rich on spool up.

Thanks for the write up. I just finished this the other day and when I crank the engine it seems to fire for only half a second. I can manually turn the pump on in evoscan and the injectors smell like fuel. I tried swapping my spoolinup cop with the stock coils with no luck. I'm still running the stock fpr. The fuses appear fine. I didn't mess with the tune at all and it ran fine on Saturday before the pump was installed.

Anyone have similar issues?

I too have a e85 450 and yet to install: I think this thread might help: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...regulator.html
* SEE post #7 - #13 that mrfred gave. I plan on going this route. Do not hardwire.

Not bashing on these, just really question how long they last before they fail. If anyone has one that has lasted a while please chime in!
Had 2 walbro 400s in my evo that I bought a while back, in a 3ltr surge tank for about a year before they died in the *** these were the ones with 262 on the end of the pumps part number which aren't the e85s but was running e85, not knowing that they were the wrong pumps bought 2 more an yet again another year later same scenario

i installed this with a rewire. ive been having issues since install. under a quarter tank of gas, it loses fuel pressure. i did investigating with it. i was using the 255 before and had no problems and the 450 is a longer pump yielding to bottom out on the tank. for you who have this problem, this is why. i followed the write up as explained. i have a ti automotive 450 e85 pump from MAP. just putting this out there for those of you wonder why you lose pressure under a quarter tank.

i'm having a different issue.
Car was tuned for areomotive 340.
Was told the car was running out of fuel up top.

So installed the 460 pump as per pictures. only difference is i left abit of the pump nozzel so that it seals the grommet properly. I used blade connectors which i added abit of soldier to the end to make sure i got good contact and heat shrinked the connectors.

The car seem to lean out on idle & cruising, but still driving (going in for a tune soon)

I pulled it out to inspect. all seemed fine, the grommet is seal very well it was tight. I even used a metal cable tie to hold the bottom of the housing on.
Used the stock fuel sock

I drilled out the siphon to 3mm.
Now it idles fine without leaning, but as soon i touch the throttle it wants to stall. Can't even make it out of driveway.

Stock wiring, stock FPR & rail. FIC 1450cc low Z

Does it sound like i'm flooding the engine? A/F reading is around 10-11 on idle.
Can't even make it out of the driveway now

11:1 afr at idle is an indication of overrun. Might need to further drill out the siphon to 3.5 mm. Others have done it without issue.
