by the way, we are on "page" 20 of this "thread". you can easily navigate through "threads" by clicking on certain "page" numbers.

You can change the number of posts per page in your User CP.. Your page 20 is my page 7. Food for thought.

This page is "11" on my screen.

Tomorrow I will make sure ALL the maps are up to date including the maps from the website. I know 100% the stage maps on the AP after the 1.3.1.0 update have what is needed. If the maps on the website are old, please use the AP manager to pull them off the AP. The staged maps from the AP should fill in and try flashing one of those.

For example, use AP manager to pull Stage I 91 Octane off the AP. Plug the AP into the car and flash the Stage 1 91 Octane which should always be on the AP by default.

A little info. As of current, our updater will update the included stage maps, but not the maps placed on by a user such as custom tunes.
This doesn't make any sense to me. When I first received the AP there were no maps on it at all. It wouldn't even connect to the car until after I contacted support and was emailed that I needed to install new firmware and copy the website posted maps to it then connect to the car. I did and it worked after that.

So it sounds like I need updated maps? I will check the website later in the day.

Like I said in my previous post I wanted to let all of you get the firmware last night, but we would not be updating the descriptions until sometime today
I think "today" was yesterday... I just checked the website again, and I couldn't see the release notes or anything...

We all understand that Cobb is a small company, with huge demands on your time and resources due to the huge popularity of the Accessport, but, we're all extremely anxious to have this info, Accesstuner Race, and the Intake maps that have been in the works for quite some time...

Could you please let us know the status? Thanks!

The Evo X maps on our website are updated. If you are having issues with live data stating you need to relfash the ECU, please download a new map (same version, no tuning changes) and reflash your ECU with the new map.

Thanks,

The Race software has been up and ready to download. We have not updated the list on this page for the Evo X, but are in the process. There are several places to update on the our site, I'm sorry for the delay in updating labels.

Please follow this link and follow the instructions. http://www.cobbtuning.com/info/?id=4214

We're working a quickly as we can on the intake maps. Heck, we're just finishing up the Stg II. Keep in mind we are not tuning for one vehicle, it's Evo X's all over the US. We take great care in what tunes we release making sure they are good for the customer. Please be patient with the tuning.

Thanks,

Ok, so just to be sure are these the corrects steps to follow?

1-download map
2-import map into AP manager
3-connect AP
4-drag and drop map from AP library to AP
5-reflash ECU

Thanks, that worked!

First indication of a difference was that the file size is larger, secondly the flash took a little longer. Livedata now works.

I am pretty sure it will require the pill, cause I have the beta stage 2 maps on mine as well as my custom ones, and they installed the pill at the start of tuning. There first pull was a stage 2 map with pill installed.

If this is true, will Cobb be providing or selling the pill for existing AP user? Im not sure if there are different pill sizes out there.

Also, how/where exactly does the pill installed?

AccessPort AccessTuner software is available

Edit: This is the AccessTuner Race edition

Kinda like ECUFlash for the AP from what I understand.

Who's going to be the guinea pig?

Dumb question though.. Did a log capture and it says that my Abs. Pressure (PSI) went to 36.98. This can't be boost can it??!

So I suppose you need to have a laptop to run this program, and for every changes you make on the map, you will have to upload back to the AP and then flash it to the ECU.

Works like a ECU flash, but a few extra steps in between.

I will have to try it out at my next dyno session.
