maybe mitsu is listening to the forums/public and staying away from a perceived mistake in design and sticking closer to the evo'ish roots....k, i'm dreaming but whatever, all i have to say is, 06 WRX + Evo X = not my favorite looks.

I read the article as well this past weekend. The car looks as if it's leaving it's rally heritage. The stance is much closer to the ground (less wheel well gap).

I think Mitsu is grasping (hoping) this car can appeal to everyone (stated in the article). It needs to make some money.

I feel they should be looking at all the other models for more significant changes to boost sales.

well, it's still fwd based awd, which is cool. but changing the engine is not a smart move...

that engine is one of the main reason why the car was so successful, since the knowledge on that engine was thoroughly reviewed and tested for over 10 years.

WOW, sounds like you two are professional drivers, and don't need anymore education about how to drive and are some of the best in the world. Maybe, you should try out for formula one, ooooh you already are, I'm sorry my misinformation. For that matter since you are SO good I can't see why you two even read a low class forum like this one. Who would have ever thought... Regaurdless of your class, people need technology to help them go faster. Wake up.

well I tend not to act like a moron on public roads while I have to listen to a bunch of civics with cantalope launchers fly by my house in rush hour traffic so to your comment:

I don't think they'll be in the same league. The Skyline is going to be more closely matched to a Z06 IMO: it's supposed to have around 450HP and is going to be hella expensive.

Mitsu isn't going to slap another 100+HP into the EVO with the X. That's too great of a leap. If they're smart they'll keep the X affordable (<$40k).

I think the X will be amazing when it comes out. But is it really scheduled for an 07 release? That seems WAY too soon. The IX just came out.
