Anyways Iv called a few mitsu dealers in my neck of the woods and was told but all of them itll be offered in a clutch version...which I really need because I need a clutch manual.Thats just how I roll.
Also on a side note if I put the 40k or so down before it releases any body know what the odds are I coudl get one early?I recall before the new body style mustang was officially released there was a black GT for sale in one of the richer towns here in Connecticut and the guy ended up not wanting it.Not sure if he just paid for it up front or paid a lil extra.

Wtf. If you don't like the paddles, just use the damn shift knob!

As far as Im concerned if the DSG lacks a clutch (Im not familiar with it and havent been keeping up to date on the forums due to being over seas (US Soldier) so I could just be sounding liek an idiot) then you have less car control.I race dirt bikes have for years and Iv taken my skill and tricks of driving a dirt bike and applied some of them to driving a car.The ability to control power to the wheels by feathering the clutch and other such tricks to me macks traditional manual superior.Nothign like pulling up next to a lil Honda ricer and makin your car lerch forward violently....it might not be practical or anything along those lines but it sure is great to watch their face...and that to me is pricless.

I still don't know why you guys are freaking out about this paddle deal. A 5 speed is being offered too. You don't think they are going to put paddles in the base lancer do you? What would be trick is, if the base lancer comes out with a 6 speed. Then we will have options.

And how exactly is the Skyline and EVO competition? If the Skyline is competition, why not add the Lambo Galliardo, Bugatti Veron, and Porsche 911 TT.
Price usually dictates the competition, and the Skyline will be significantly more expensive then the next EVO.
I was reading in this months issue of a more reputable sport compact magazine (I'm not sure which one, but check the news stands. It's on the cover.) That the editor had met up with Dr. Evo (our cars current design manager) and said that he had tested a true development car, and he said it was mostly finished. Other than that no details could be shared. Oh, and he told him that people in the US were worried that the performance of the X would be lacking, and he replied that "The EVO X will be better than the IX. Much better.
