actually cornering is not reduced by hp....it is affected by weight. hp will only get you out of the corner. so basically the X will be a tamed down retired evo...and no big deal whatsoever

They wouldnt be testing a car thats going to be 330bhp with 225 width tires max on the car. Can you digitally enhance the pictures to show a brembo logo?
What the hell are you talking about? Ricer appeal? You are a moron. Look closer, first of all there are 2 different cars here, both sporting different license plate numbers, and both sporting different color brakes. Look at the first four pics of the X, those red brakes are indeed brembos, don't you see the 'white' writing on them? Also, how do you know the tire width based on these pics?

Remember you said that when all you see is the back of the X
Exactly.

Just like Evo VII owners didn't like the VIII, and how Evo VIII owners didn't like the IX, and now some IX owners don't like the X. Once full unvelied, this car will sell more than the previous model(s).

Also I would think that Mitsu is researching too taking the views of us fanatical tuners who really increased sales for Mitsu with buying the evo models to begin with..... I don't recall mitsu ever having sold another car in numbers as they have sold the evolutions, so I think they will care about it's looks for sure!

I'm just curious why people keep on bashing the X when its still not out there and no one in this board has at least has tried it. Just because its not 4G63 and not an aluminum block, that it would not perform as the previous Evo's or even might be better in handling. Lets all just wait and see the final numbers when its actually out for everyone to test, then lets see if it is actually a step down from the current Evo. Just notice a lot of haters here. Same thing when the Evo eight came out......Nobody liked the front bumper as compared to the Evo 7.

That white lettering could said MITSUBISHI.. your making assumptions and making garuntees.. those pictures were all taken at the same time and they already said that wasnt an evo.

Why would they think about testing a car.. that clearly isnt wide enough to sport next gen evo tires.. and without a wing as well. The wing is a critical part of the engineering of the car.. and they would track test it without one because?

No one said there wasnt two cars.. but you just garunteed one was the evo... that is not the evo!.. no LED/HID lights (which is will definately have).. the body is narrower then the current evo.. which definately will not be the case.

Mitsubishi already said the the X will be designed so that it looks good with or WITHOUT a spoiler. Just because it doesn't have a spoiler, doesn't' mean it's not the X. The source of the spy shots said it WAS the Evo. They're test mules, wired up with sensors galore. They could be testing any number of things that would not require the Evo's suspension setup, etc...Most manufacturers do this. They could even be testing for NVH and want to remove the variable of larger, more agressive tires. Thing is, no one truly knows, right? Same goes for the body. They may be testing for something where the wide flares aren't needed. Perhaps the dies to make the fenders aren't done yet!

Current Evo models come with and without HID. Where have you read the X will come standard with HID? How in the hell can you tell there's no HID when the image was taken in the DAYLIGHT? Externally, there's no difference between the HID and non-HID on the current car. The lenses look identical.

Looks like a Brembo to me....not to mention the single pot rear caliper. In fact, they look identical to the current Brembo caliper. Even has an external balance bar.
