Lancer Evolution X News, Info, Pics, etc... | [ALL THREADS MERGED]
I love the X and I can't wait to get one. I already talked my wife into trading her STi in on the X so I'll pretty much be set as soon as they arrive. The only problem is that it will tecnically be "her" car and I'll have to pry the keys from her hands I'm sure.
That's alright though, at least I'll still have a IX MR to fall back on.

But again, if you DO need to, the paddle is closer than the gearshift and still much faster.

^^ you guys aren't getting it...the paddles don't move...think of it this way, is it faster to turn on your blinker or shift gears on a manual transmission?
EDIT: Is there anyone here that finds it cramps their style to turn on their blinker in the middle of a turn? Or, if you are turning left, do you ever turn on your windshield wiper because your steering wheel was turned?

it seems that nobody knows nothing about the new X engine ? u have some info about that ? because in fall 07 nissan will enter the Skyline in the US again so.... nice competion for Evo because Subaru is so lame
I find the people who mock the dsg are digging really far for faults now. First it was the "nothing beats manual." Then it was the "fun factor," the "launch control," and the "real drivers don't use auto macho-BS" And now we're progressing to "dude I can't shift when i'm cornering."
Wtf. If you don't like the paddles, just use the damn shift knob!
