You can look at hard as you want, its just an artists rendering, it has whatever he felt like adding, haha. Any rate, anyone feeling a giant Evo meet at the Detroit auto show, just a thought. Might be fun to have the cars biggest fan base there for the unveiling.

I might start a spread sheet, see how many that bash the X actually end up with one. It happened with the VIII, and even a bit with the IX. Oh well, everyone has an opinion, its just humorous how the ones that talk the most crap either end up buying the car after they realize they over-reacted, or they dont have the means to buy one in the first place (making their ranting largely pointless).

 

Youre a dumbass....Why would you say we dont have the means to acquire a X when obviously we have enough "means" to purchase a IX? Why would you want a paddle shift piece with no potential at all? Show me proof that anyone ever bashed the IX. What did they bash??? the MIVEC or the factory ACD? Retard

 

Guys, the Evos are a way of life! It doesn't matter what number they are, since 1991 they've been built with the same concept in mind: AWD rally rocket. The looks are subjective, you can bet on one thing, it's going to be better than the model it replaces!

 

hey tristar, that making the trip over there sounds good, however, it's so much easier just to sit here and check evom, someone will post pics (a lot i hope). as for the x, we all just gotta wait, i've read so many threads with all sorts of information, i don't know what to believe. I'll wait patiently and when it does come out, i'll buy it.

 

im saving my pennies patiently for this. just hope mitsubishi get the quality up, the interior decent, and its all good! (handling & performance being a given)

 

Yes, Im the retard. The new X, which hasnt even been introduced to the public, has NO potential at all... Second, a number of VIII owners complained they did not like the new front on the IX (I like the IX's front better), they complained it did not have the JDM rear bumper, and some stated it resorted back to an Evo VII look and it should have changed more drastically. Of course how would you know that, you werent even a member here when the IX dropped... Third, the VIII actually came with ACD in 05, so that wasnt a new addition, smart guy. Fourth, do you think everyone that has bashed the X owns a IX? Yes, in your case you do own one, but in your case a number of other things could be said too...

Let the record show, despite never seeing, driving, or examining the X on an engineering level, "thedarkside" has told us the X has NO POTENTIAL. Its official.
