exactly! Why can't they keep the same basic design...looks like a slick Acura TL/TSX. Not like Mitsubishi is doing great financially now....this sure isn't gonna help

im sure due to the tremendous amount of backlash mitsu has been going through despite you hardcore owners that they wouldnt release a car unless it was definetly going to apeal to a demograffic that would appreciate it for what it is, just look at the maxda 3, its just as bulky as those sketches and it got in the 10 best of car and driver and automobile magazine.

I think it looks slick, but it reminds me of the Mazda 6's. (Which I also like)

 

i think its good looking, kinda different, but i like it. The front fascia looks aggressive, the side shot looks slick, but i know there are actual concept photos floating around on the net.

when you see this car in person, it takes on a whole new personality i too didn't like it from the pics, but when i saw it in person i loved it

why do all car manufactuers ruin an already fine body stlye......EVERY... think about it honda, acura (killed the teg and rsx), mitsu (eclipse), nissan (well see how the new skyline looks in person), toyota(not a big fan of the gas guzzling new tacomas)....i dk im just thinking off the top of my head and it is late.

 

LOL, you guys that are talking bad about it now are the very first ones trading in your 9 or 8 for it. Its an evolution, every evolution is better than the last.

 

i can't believe how many naysayers there are out there - I think that this is a bold move for mitsu and i think it's a step in the right direction...i mean, if you look at the upgrades from the VIII to the IX, there was some improvements, but not a drastic one like what we see from the IX to the X...personally, I'm waiting until it comes out to voice my opinion of it...

btw, my personal fave is a V or VI

 

i talked to the mitsu rep at SEMA... wasn't too impressed on where they are going with the Evo X. Its going to have an aluminum block now that is open deck. We'll see when it comes out

 

Mitsubishi doesn't always make a car better, look at the second generation eclipse. I agree everything about the X still remains speculation, but when you look at the pictures of the world engine and it shows an open deck and plastic intake runners, it doesn't inspire confidence...

 

Why don't Mitsubishi build something lighter? sort of like what Acura/Honda did with the legendary Acura Integra Type-R!
