Quote: or switch to a dodge caliber, mitsu outlander, or chryler's pt cruiser as they will all share the same new platform.

but i can tell you that i will not be one those who switches
I really don't understand what the problem is here, he said when people see the superior power and handling they will want to switch to the X. You want to make this about the hole platform sharing thing. Under that train of thought why don't you just start beating all VIII's and IX's because they share a platform with regular lancers? Or do you realize that VIII's and IX's get multiple upgrades and changes from regular lancers platform?

true, but at least it was solely a mitsubishi platform and not shared.
but thats irrelevant

in stock form the evo 10 will have more power, but possibly more weight. if the usdm 10 gets any kind of ayc, then it will handle better. of course this would make the car cost more.

but i dont see people switching just because of it. especially since the aftermarket highly favors the 8 / 9.

You guys are forgetting something
This body style is the Lancer, not the Lancer Evolution... Look at the standard Lancer compared to the Lancer Evolution... There are going to a lot of body of changes made for the evolution.

Its really hard for me to formulate an honest opinion of the car based off of pictures that look like they were drawn by a cartoonist.

As soon as I buy a house, start a business, and make it, I'm buying myself every stupid single car I want.

side airbags, DSG, ,awd ....who knows. Let's hope they somehow do something great that makes the car light.

I dont think it will be that heavy. They are going to do a lot to try and lighten the new car to make it like someone said as light as the IX or even lighter.
