Lancer Evolution X News, Info, Pics, etc... | [ALL THREADS MERGED]
i saw a G35 the other day that had skyline across the back like the uk evolution badges....i was like what's up with that but i guess it makes sense now.....according to the post refering that the G35 is called the skyline in japan....it's not awd...the skyline is awd.....maybe it is over in japan and they cut it out of the u.s. model like they cut our ayc out....who knows.....why does there have to be a difference between the japan and u.s. models? ....as far as performance goes....it's not like we don't know about it .....i mean they still don't have as much power as vipers or corvettes or whatever so what's the deal....costs....i guess.....i don't know why it would cost that much more but i guess it does...anyway i don't like the gt-r that much as far as looks....it's ok ...kindof like the z or the g35.....i've never really liked cars that are big like the 350z/g35, supra, 3000gt, mustang, etc,...i don't know ....i just don't like looking over a long hood when i'm driving which is why i love the evo.....i guess i'm just wierd that way...i like small cars
All I'm saying is that the skyline, GTR or not, was popular up to the styling of the 2001+ Skyline (US G35). With that model skyline (2001+) popularity faded and the great skylines are considered to be the GTR R34s both styling and performance. And IMO, based on the current styling of the Nissan vehicles and the next gen Skyline GTR spyshots the 09 Skyline GTR will not be better looking than the GTR R34 IMO. That's why I said "downhill".
But back on topic, The EVO X is great.

I WILL ***** about the "no 4g63"....That may be a mistake especially for those guys who like to push lots of boost (if they use an aluminum block.

I just bought a IX, but the I think the X looks awesome. Although the SRT-4 will have basically the same engine and chassis for much less $$$...
