Yeah now that is what I'm talking about, that model looks sweet. if the rally version looks like that. Not much different than the concept but there are subtle changes that make the difference.
Paddle shifters all the way/

The grill kind of resemble what VW is doing with the front ends on the new GTI and Jetta.

If you look at the title stuck on the table of that model pic it is in German. So I am sure there is some VW stuck in there somewhere

Very modern looking; this EVO looks like a car created for the 21st century. The current car looks like an outdated throw back to the 1990's. If it performs as well as the styling suggest it will, then no one looking for a real driver’s car will be disappointed.

We'll have to leave final judgment until we see the real thing, but for now I give it two thumbs up!

Paddle shifting is for losers. The skill and thrill of clutch driving is what real driving is all about. EVO X will suck for this purpose and this purpose only.

Having both options sounds pretty good to me.
Should be a distinct advantage for faster times in Solo 1 too.

Paddle shifting... quick shifting... quick lap / stage times... all related.
Every top WRC team has it... it's also mandatory in F1...
"for losers"... ??? ... If you say so...

Yeah, Peter Soleburg is a loser... they dont know what the hell they are doing, obviously... since they are using paddle shift. This guy definitely knows what he is talking about...

give me paddle shift in a F430 and I sure wont feel like a loser jk I think its a cool option to have...not everyone wants a manual car. If F1 has paddle shift I want one too lol

"Pretty" ???... Nope!... "Aggressive" ???... Hell Yeah!!!

I don't know about this one. Maybe after sometime it will grow on you
Yeah... Like a bad rash. That damn thing's f***ing ugly.

Aggressive ???... Nope!... 21st Century ???... You gotta be kiddin'!. It just looks ridiculous IMHO!
Grill, fender and bonnet styling look like crap. It's worse than Concept X.

Concept X was "Fat-cat" Galant with a "Big-Mouth/No-Teeth" add-on look.

... Just like new, ugly Audis & VWs.

This is... Big-Mouth/No-Teeth/Lil' "Boy-racer" Gone Wild!
What's with the "Botox-lips" look on top of Concept X???

Yup I want "aggressive" like the Evo 4-6... but not "Ridiculous!"

Whatever happened to "good taste?"... and "common sense?"

it sure as hell won't please everybody.
but one thing Mitsu can be sure on is it is sparking interest regardless of what it looks like.
I am still wanting to see what they do for the rally prepared version.
and How you can say that it is worse than the Concept X, I am sorry but I don't understand, that is the Concept X, just it has been smoothed out a little, with a few extras added etc.
we all want aggressive but the 4 5 & 6 have been and gone, yeah they are still awesome cars but redoing those cars is like all these retro styled cars we have now, the new Mustang, the charger, it is just a fad and a sales pitch.
Ok they are new cars with newer technology but with a subtle hint of the old classic.
Personally I say move on to the future. Perfect and evolve the technology we have

Shinobi
I would like to see you driving against one of these rally cars with the paddle shifters, even in your evo you will get your *** handed to you

Yup my friend I agree. I'm not suggesting a E4-6 Retro-style at all...
That will be as dumb as the new replacement due for the R34 Skyline. That's a dumb 'retro' gimmick. IMHO you shouldn't take a 'clean' design and bastardize it for a sales gimmick like that.

Similarly, they can avoid copying the current 'big-grill fad' that Audi... VW... and others follow these days. What's the problem??? Only one designer available???

Damn... It just doesn't look good.
