Lancer Evolution X News, Info, Pics, etc... | [ALL THREADS MERGED]
its not about supply and demand
it's about greed
there's dealer who mark everything up and hope for 1 sucker to buy in
This is car selling business =p
"if there's super high demand, why would he sell to you at a lower margin when he knows he can sell it at sticker or above sticker? He'll jump ship from this idea as well."
sure , it is just like u can sell ice tea with higher price on hot days , ppl dosent like stickers shocks will not even consider to come to the floor at all. I am not saying ppl dosent do tht or it is wrong, but at the end of the day , u r hurting ur business.
btw I think Evo 9 was customer's revenge for mark ups , no one willing to pay more than invoice when they see the 8s price could be so low w/ 0 % , no one wants to be a sucker.

Sneak peek! Actual Evo X paddle shifters pictured.
"... Leftovers from the upcoming '08 Evolution X, which needs them for its new sequential manual transmission, the paddles make an important statement about the personality of the redesigned Outlander ..."
Check out the size of those shifters - Ferrari-esque. Sequential?! Magnesium?!Even better. Me likey.
I never thought I'd get so excited about simple paddle shifters on an Outlander - of all cars - but they're a little glimpse of what's to come.

You didn't read the article, obviously.
"Outlander XLS models get a nifty pair of magnesium paddle shifters. They're mounted on the steering column, meaning they stay in the same place when you turn the wheel."
Awesome.
Awesome.
Nice, so we will get magnesium paddles. Now all we have to do is wait for a test car with a working dual clutch!
Oh, and I wish they could incorporate lift and press switching together instead of just lift. I have a car with paddles atm and I have a desire to flick the paddles down instead of lifting them to shift, that way you can grip the wheel better.
