another reason to ditch the AMT: it uses wet clutches, so it loses some power and is less efficient. i think it would get less milage

looks good. though i'm not feeling the tail lights and the whole back set up...it's kinda like when they had the last celica...you look at the front and you're like, wow..that car looks hot!!! and as it's driving by and you see the tail, it goes from wow to what the??? it's like they ran out of ideas somewhere at the end and the tail ended up like that. lol!

pretty excited to see one of those on the road though...maybe i can trade my viii in for one of those someday.

do u know if you get a AMT it will weight more then the 5spd Mt, plus if you add the NAV and 650 watt sound systems that's where the 200 lb weight more comes from.... so now your evo x is going to weight like 3450...

i bet the MT is going to be 3200 to 3250...

i bet the MT is going to be 3200 to 3250 without the NAV and the sound system...

if you still worry about the weight, then buy the EVO X RS
they will come out one anyway

I'd say it'll definately be over 3400lbs...I'm thinking ~3450lbs.

The video says the headlights and wheels will be a little different, but the seats, interior "neon", and chronograph were definitely presented as features that will be in the X.

Granted we have limited info here... but... read what it sez... "The chassis is more rigid in bending and torsion has improved more than 50 percent, but it's unfortunately also about 200 pounds heavier."

The chassis is the cause of the extra weight... not the stereo or nav... Guess we will know in about a year!
