Dealers are taking deposits and Pre-Selling the maybe three cars they will have..(that a higher volume store will get..smaller stores may not even see one..especially if they aren't Chapter of Excellence Dealers or some ****)

Get your money down now. Rumour is a build total for the MR of 1200-1400 for the NATION.

Which means..some of you ain't gettin an MR..unless you really want one.

^^^expect to put down at least a grand but it helps if you have a relationship with the dealer. go to a dealer you trust.

personally, i would put down as little as you can get away with...why let the dealer tie up your money any more than necessary? but yes, $10K should be more than enough.

^^^i was talking about the deposit, not the down payment. but anyway, i think you will probably need a down payment of more than $5k to get your payments under $400. the MR is likely to be at least $35K after taxes.

do a search for a payment calculator, which will give you a better answer.

Tanner, no it wasnt a brochure its a booklet that Mits sends out to dealerships to give us a heads up on option codes (what the car comes with) or what packages are going to be available so we can have a good range of things when we order our stock. It mainly had stuff for the MR and the 05 Eclipse. If anyone in the area here in NC is looking for an EVO RS I have one with no dealer markup..PM me for details.

 

this person really didn't take care of their mr.....and doesn't really know how to park it well either :\

and it will never come with the anti-lag, that system in and of itself is a smog disaster.

and it's entirely possible that the mr won't be called the mr although now people are sayin' that it will have mr badged goodies in the cabin.

i can't wait... my expectation after reading road and track was that this thing would be here be 05 or rather dec 04... so i'm willing to wait that long, if it comes sooner then better if it doesn't... i may have to settle for an 04 :[

The booklet you are talking about is the VAP menu. It has the available value packages that you can order with the cars. Mitsu has a new program that is similar to Toyota where they package some accessories together and install them at the port. It is cheaper than buying them individually but you may get some things that you don't want.
