rock on!
rock on!

Maybe I'm in the minority, or maybe because there's only a few REALLY bad days up here in MA during the summer, but I think I've used the A/C in my Eclipse < 10 times over the past 3 years. I could forgo the A/C in the MR and not mind, saving a few pounds and gaining a percent or two in increased efficiency. But to each his own.
A radio though is a different story. Though I think the 315W Infinity system is more than enough for me, especially if there's an extra input jack flapping around to hook up an iPod that's sitting in the center console, very well cushioned against shock.
A/C here in Texas is on literally on every single time I drive a car.. in the summer, nothing can keep up on the hottest days, after 15 minutes ,cold AC usually makes it bearable. In the winter it's on all the time to help keep the air dry and the windows clear.
I'm sure the US MR will have A/C. If not they might as well make the back two windows manual roll down and only the passanger side mirror electrically adjustable.

Does anyone know when or if Subaru plans to release the Spec-C in the US. I figure that Mitsu will release the MR at or around the same.
They could care less about our nagging. This is a war that will never end. One is always trying to out do the other. And I guess Mitsu doesn't want what happened with the release of the STi to happen again.

Ok, so about a dozen more pages of posts and one...ONE...person had some new info. (Michael Adair in Minneapolis). Hey, Michael, are you a doc?...Hennepin County?...sorry, babbling belonging on a pm. Nonetheless, at least ONE person worked at getting info. That's what we ALL need to be doing for the good of the evom community. I tried calling the press line and was doing pretty well until the woman found out I wasn't with any publication and abruptly said, "Oh! I wasn't even supposed to be talking to you about this!"....she didn't have anything to say that we all don't already know. Called MMNA and got a few confused underlings to transfer me on...one woman was supposed to get back to me. Hasn't happened. She just doesn't know what she's missin'. So GET ON IT PEOPLE!!! Michael made some inroads and the more we do this stuff, the more the people who are clueless at MMNA start telling the Japanese divisions that we're driving them nuts...etc etc. Ok, have to stop or I end up with one of the Magna Carta posts.
<------------------------- not bothering w/MR... waiting for new GT-R...
They'll release more info when the time is right. This happened when the Evo8 was being released and we were all trying to get more info - Mitsu will eventually release info, and it's unlikely that any underling who's not in a position of power will know anything about the MR, or have the authority to release info about it either. Just sit tight and enjoy the ride people.
Check here..
LONG time ago..we called Mitsubishi
back then had no clue.
It may depend on who you talk to as well. (even now. Try it, call Mits and see what happens)
When I called them waaay back it was like "huh"??!
The operator and then the marketing dude I talked to had VERY little info.
I still go back to that "Press Release that will never come" as much needed verification .(.. least not in the next few months)
I am buying in to the theory that
doesn't want to hurt the sales of the current EVO with the announcement. So they are tight lipped.
But they (the CEO) said to much already IMO..

I just came back from japan and I had a chance to test drive Japanese MR for a little time.
I was suprised how quiet the and smooth it became. More torque in the mid range.
The steering was heavier comparing to US spec, I guess because of AYC and ACD. I had hard time finding 2nd gear, I like 5 spd since it's my daily driver.

Couldn't we all get together and conference call Headquarters? Put some pressure on them that way. It's like the old Martin Lawrence stand up bit about asking where the tooth paste is in the grocery store. If you go by yourself, your likely to get blown off by the clerk, but get a group together and ask the same question and you will be escorted to the exact location. We could use the same tactic here, a large group of people will always command more respect. I say we organize a march, to go down there and get the scoop. March for MR! Would anyone be willing to camp out at the HQ untill they cave?
