he tuned it for the gas you had in it on the dyno. I hope it was 93!

Yea it'll work. They are all 4G94 engines. It doesn't matter. Little high of a price, IMO. I picked up my last motor for $250 with 16k miles on it.

I'm guessing all you need is the block, and not the head. The only thing I can remember is that they switched to returnless fuel system somewhere along the way.

I've found my last 3 engines on (where else but) ebay. Each one was under 20k miles and under $300 before shipping.

Depending what year/mileage engine you get will determine how much machine work is needed before assembly. Depending on what the cylinder walls look will determine whether you'll need to go .020 over or not on the pistons.

Hmmm... maybe I'll pick up this engine too... Just kidding!

Same guys I got mine from. Shipping ended up being $29 cause they were only like 12 miles away from me. Nice find!

The first pic does have the intake mani on it, hm, they probably just snapped the pics before they pulled it off. Just the block, and the head. Its a freakin killer deal man, esp if it has only 16,000 miles, and the compression test was done and got good readouts. I would go for it man! seriously for only 200 + shipping! or just go pick it up!

Estimated Time: 13 hours 24 minutes Estimated Distance: 814.66 miles

1,630 miles, it would take roughly 5 tanks for you to drive out in your car at 30 mpg.
Ave fill up = 25.00 - 30.00... Total $125-$150 in gas.. plus food... total $175.

So now find out how much it'll cost you for them to ship it to you, and see which one more cost effective.
