^ Amby my friend, you usually catch on to what I'm saying, but not this time around, lol. He is saying that it would be easily obtainable to do that with a turbo, yes, but I was just saying that he hit that without turbo, and pretty much to imagine the possibilites if the g64 was turboed up. I think we've seen ppl hit over 200 hp with a turboed g94, and I know that

You said that 167 whp was hard to hit on the 4G94. I was simply correcting that statement. Obviously if you turbo a motor that already has more HP than the 4G94 you'll get a larger number but that wasn't the point of my statement or his question to an extent.

Ah, gotcha makes sense, in any case, it is difficult because of the amount of money and fine tuning that you need to do to be able to hit that much hp to the wheels, not impossible but a lil difficult.

Depends what kinda dyno you use. On a dynojet it'd be a breeze, on a dynamometer it'd be hard as hell as you'd basically have to double the horsepower being put out by the motor.

lol, well then if we'd look at it that way, how would you know that the hp it says your putting out is really what you are putting out?

The HP it says it's putting down is what you're putting down on that dyno under those conditions.

hey---i read the whole thread and know this question was already brought up but just quick clarification--please dont flame me....

I think i have this right: your ECU and Immobilizer unit have to be matching from the same vehicle. after that you can install them on your lancer and have a key made from the dealer that fits your lock but have a chip in it to match the said ecu/IMU correct?

Also -- does anyone know if there would be any additional things to watch out for when doing this swap on a 2003 OZ rather than an 02?

Thanks

^ I'm not too sure about the whole ecu thing, someone else would have to respond to that, but as for having problems in an 03, there is NO difference between 02-06 engine bay from what I understand, I could be wrong, but as far as my knowledge goes, there is no differenece, so all the same scenarios, unless your car has been f-ed up, lol.
