so with some bolt ons you think the 4g64 lancer will put down pretty good numbers, like..enough to beat some new si's and an LS swapped eg6 lol

Lol well the way I look at it is, rpm put Down 164 atw with 186 tq atw I believe, so a stock si puts down the same hp if not less, and wayy less torque. The si is also heavier, and they run low 15s, so wouldn't that make us faster

Oh so maybe top end they would pull? Idk I Notice that with my friends civic Ill have him by 3 or more car lenthgs until I hit 4th gear

 

SI vs Normal Civic is very different. VTEC is a beast my friend.

 

Ugggh I just hate Honda lol , so would you sacrifice good ol Mitsubishi torque for vtec ?

 

i love my mitsu, point blank, and I've accepted it's faults. At this point, i'm getting older, and I realize that I'm throwing money into a car that will never be amazingly fast, and I just want a comfortable car.

 

okay amazingly fast, NO, but i want something that will make those si owners say.. wtf i thought it was "just" a lancer. I reallly want an evo but as a college student, i could never afford the insurance on one. so until then im gonna make the best of what i have, and when it comes time for me to get my evo, i will have learned many many things from my lancer. which im starting to think, isnt much different from the evo. besides the awd, i mean the engine setup is pretty much the same isnt it? from what i read in previous threads, a 4g63 should be a pretty similar swap to the 4g64, and if i do the 4g64 swap/evo head. it will be pretty similar, but with much cheaper insurance. RPM said he loved hsi car and couldnt stay away from it, he even told me hiss lancer pulled harder than his prelude even after the stuff hes done to the prelude..

ive gotten past the honda murdering once i boosted...now im aiming to keep up with evos and wrxs...once i manage that ill retire the lancer and start another mitsu project
