Well I have an evo and the wife loves it but can't drive stick. When I seen this thread I went out and bought a wrecked 2002 Lancer with automatic the other day. As soon as I get my tax money I will start to convert it into an evo for her. Then in the mid summer I am going to buy a wrecked evo and make it a lancer......Great sleeper...............Nice work guys and I will post pic's soon.

Dude whats wrong with that, I have an Evo hell I owned 3 of them. I will have plenty of lancer parts doing nothing so why not do something different.

Thats the idea i've been waiting for someone to do forever! I hope you go through with it. Because its gonna be B-A. I'd love seeing peoples faces after i tear it up on the streets and they'll be like is that just a regular lancer???

that would be a great sleeper!! but the wheels will stick out of the fenders a lot. it would be cool to make it as stock looking as possible.

That's more than half your budget right there. Hopefully the swap costs less than 650$.
