You mean there's someone in the known universe who prefers hard, brittle feeling plastics and the creeks and rattles that go along with them to the compliant, nicely textured materials in the previous generation? Interesting.

I disagree, I had leather in my IX and thought it was pretty good, but my buddy has cloth in his and well, that is just gawd awful ugly but thats just my personal opinion.

 

I had the same car as you GG IX SE....Miss the motor in that car. I like the SWAD system better but man that 4G63.

 

Ive never been in an evo that doesnt have atleast some rattling...and ive probably been in about 10 now in my lifetime. The evo X I test drove was the best IMO, but obviously its hard to compare leather/suede combo seats to just cloth. thats apples and oranges

 

Mine doesn't. It did have a glovebox rattle at ~10K and I fixed it. Other than that, nothing.

Great you love your IX and hate the X now go away fanboy. I swear every time there is a IX vs X comparison the X guys are always try and be positive about both cars strengths, then comes the IX fanboy and just has to go on and on about how wonderful and more superior the IX is over the X. The point is, there's such a thing as reality. Whether you, personally, like it or not is of no consequence to its existence.

 

In your case reality translates into fanboishness. Someone said the Evo X interior is nicer, which it is, it has better ergonomics, better layout, nicer gauges, nicer leather. So then you bring up that IXs have better interior plastics, ok I can agree on that I haven't done a test per say which is actually better but ok maybe your right on that. Then you state that IXs seats are better too, really? Like are you serious? Every magazine I have read ,every person, and IX owner I have met that sat in my car said " Dude your seats are amazing" So sorry if you come off as a fanboy to me but I call'em like I see them.

 

Test drive the X and you decide.
