Sorry, I was channeling Nemsin, hence the being a dick part. Let's shift focus.
FYI, the Fiesta ST and Focus ST are pretty solid power wise stock.
all good, I too think this particular angle has been clubbed to death. I was about to ask you if you had seen this issue on any of the other ecoboost stuff you have worked with, but you beat me to it.
i actually talked to one ST owner who just got his hand on his RS couple of days ago. He said the RS feels less powerful vs his ST. Maybe the TQ steering i assume.
But he also stated the power delivery is very smooth , which is good news. Doesn't sounds like you feel the power fluctuation which is measured on the dyno.
today test drive postponed i have to fly out tomorrow , just got a call We just missed the Evo vs RS comparision day, up on RT218 ...lololololol

The ecoboost mustang is rated at 310 HP/320 lb-feet and I don't think it has any sort of overboost feature.
So, no.
you say that, but in the article posted by razor the conclusion at the end reads
"As a result, we have data but no answers. Every EcoBoost-powered Mustang we have tested has been slower than the one before it to 60 mph, slower through the quarter mile, or both. In the 21 months since we first tested an EcoBoost Mustang, the car has somehow gained 0.7 second on the run to 60 mph and 0.4 second in the quarter mile. We’ll post any solution to this mystery we discover, but for now, all we have are questions."
maybe unrelated, maybe ford software engineers are smoking some crack. Im sure the answers will come.

also ford always very very optimistic about they HP numbers , i said it before, many times... there you go i just repeated myself
all mfg's have tricks up their sleeves. Sometimes they get caught with their pants around their ankles with their dicks in hand, then they get bought out by rival mfg's...
If Ford gets the overboost function working as intended (where it resets the 20s timer everytime you let off the throttle) then I would fully believe the 350hp rating. But currently, users and even experienced tuners, cannot make sense of the stock boost controls. Hopefully Cobb will chime in soon.
if i had the money, and garage space i would buy one, glitchy software or not, because im a long time blue oval guy and im happy there is finally something in this platform that ford is selling.

You've literally said this like 10x (maybe more) already.
How about we try not saying it again until we get more info. hmm?
As I've already stated, and even with proof in the form of a datalog, it's not the overboost function that is failing, it's the other ECU safeguards being tripped. Overboost will only function if the ECU detects no safeguards active.
Yes, I have had to repeat myself over and over, because some people don't seem to "get it". Last we heard from you, the problem was ECU safeguards being tripped.
If the safeguards are working as intended, then there is no issue right?
You're impossible. All you see or hear is yourself in a circle of influence of one. I hope you don't work in any field that involves strategic decision making or qualitative thinking.
How about you answer the question. Do you still think its safeguards preventing the overboost function? If so, why do the safeguards appear to nearly always be preventing overboost?
You seemed so sure of yourself just a few posts back.

I have zero interest in being in a conversation with you any longer. You are a self absorbed ****.
