Should be interesting to see what the RS does with more time tuning, E40 and an upgraded FMIC, which all the Ecoboosts need.
For track use, it's probably going to need a drivetrain cooler of some sort to do any serious lapping.
Didn't somebody assume the car was maxed out earlier in this thread?

They won't be able to do full E85 unless they add additional injector(s). That said, Adam has a good amount of experience with that on his E85 Mustang Ecoboost.

If i had one of those low-mileage Evos that are selling for $25k, I'd probably sell it off and get the next RS. A new car that is as fun to drive as my Evo? Sign me up.
Was going to go look at one, only one dealer in town has one. Manager called me back and said he went go make sure the car was ready to be shown and it sold this morning... le sigh...
Yes that will keep the diff cool, but the ecu won't know unless it's reprogrammed to stay out of limp mode.
After calling 7 dealers with in 1k miles of me, they either don't have the cars yet, or they are already sold even though they are still listed for sale on websites. Pretty silly. And all of them were at least $5k mark up, even though a few had them listed for MSRP on cars.com...
This seems to have gone from "seriously considering" to "pipe-dream" in a matter of hours...lol. At least for now. I'm not really willing to pay mark up. And I'm not ok with selling my Evo only to be hoping to find an RS.

Nah for me.
A local dealership in Sac had one of the first in the area. Originally posted with a 15K markup up. Which came down to 10K markup after a couple of weeks. It sold a week ago. Then a white one came in with the winter wheel pkg and the markup on it was 10K. It sold after 3 weeks.
Now they have a black one and a blue one listed at msrp. Looks like they finally gave up on the markups. I asked if they are getting any base models in. The guy said no because they would not sell easy. Told him I bet they would sell faster then a 10K marked up option vehicle....he laughed. He said they are getting 7 total this year.
