Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
It surely is. I always question people complaining about certain parts on these cars being weak, but I see time and time again that it is proven wrong. Aside from my synchros going bad, I haven't had any issues with mine.
I don't plan on putting sticky tires on or adding power or anything like that. those things will just increase the chance of stuff breaking at the track. did your buddy have any of that stuff done? I just want to drive it safely at 10/10ths - bone stock (sans seat and cage) for a year or two.
Buy me an Aeromotive 340 and some bigger injectors and i'll do it. I have been dying to see what the HKS will do on corn. I've seen people reporting in the 400s.

Petey called me last night to attend the wake for the Sandbox, but I could not make it. We don't know the extent of the damage just yet. I was told Ben went out for his second run, and the motor shut off. The immediate assumption is that the belt skipped, but we'll find out as soon as Ben gets the head off. Doesn't seem like there are any visible damage from outside. It is sad, but the motor has definitely served well, holding 500hp in stock form for over 2 years.
just got word from RT Tuning my car passes the strict RTR tech inspection. all i have to do now is show up at the Glen on Friday.
also got the car corner balanced, camber bumped to 3.5* front and 1.5* rear. zero toe all around and 4.5* castor up front. Car weighed 3410 with 190lbs of weight in it and was a perfect 50/50 weight distrubution (criss-cross, not front to rear). Can't wait to see how this thing handles the turns now.
