Scratch that idea. This thing was basically impossible to install on the hose without proper tools. After about an hour, I got it onto the hose but then couldn't clamp the fitting on one side, made an overall mess and got fiberglass all over my workbench and myself.

So, I cut it off and after taking a shower to get all the nasty fiberglass off my skin, used some other sleeving I had sitting around and 20 mins later I had a visually horrible but sleeved drain line.

Yeah. That stuff is a tight fit. I use compressed are to get it slide on easier. Putting it on short sections is harder too.

Yea I also used compressed air, which helped to get it on and also to distribute fine fiberglass particles all over the place. lol.

No real updates except I dropped off my IC pipes and intake pipe this last weekend to get properly powder coated.

So, if I ever get motivated enough to put this thing back together, it will look nicer...

I also found some really "great" areas of Newark, NJ on the way to drop off the parts. Holy hell.

The only safe area of Newark when I went to college there was downtown Broad St, and even that was iffy at nighttime 😕
McCarter Hwy (Rt21) is a nightmare with all the potholes.

Powder coating black?

Got the parts back from powder coating. They did a great job and it was pretty cheap.

Spent a bunch of time today putting the turbo back in. Right when I thought "I'm making great progress" I went to connect the oil return line to the block and the SOB was about 5mm too short.

I took a look at the new fitting I used and what would you know, it's about 5mm shorter than the last fitting.

I swear to god this car is going to be the death of me.

I only work on this thing about 3 hours every other weekend.

Made some progress this weekend. Turbo is in with new drainline. Next is to get the f’n downpipe to align and vband on, then manifold and EWG.

Also swapping out mini muffler test pipe for one of those new snazzy UHP cats.
