Not a single one of them was a yamaha. I'd put his turbo sleds up against any 1800cc genesis out there. Not only are they faster, but you don't feel like you're trying to ride a whale when you're on one!!!!

BTW the last turbo sled he dynoed was a 98 summit-X with a 740cc kit carburated running an aerodyne 145 turbo. @ 16psi it made 315hp. The M7 he's riding this year is running a GT-3076 with a realy slick fuel injection setup. I think i've got him talked into running the Autronic smc next year. I don't think 400hp would be too difficult to reach with the current setup, and the autronic.
Well, all I ever see at the shows is turbo Yamahas. But I should have my relatives talk to you, they'd probably love to talk to someone who knows what they're doing with snowmobiles.

well i got the injen muffler off already and the new magnaflow canister is set to be welded. i cut the injen muffler apart and you can see the restriction. the center core is 3" but it has some baffles that taper down to about two inches. the new magnaflow is 3" straight through. i'm gonna try it and see how it flows. i'm willing to bet it will. i believe the injen stuff is really good but if you plan on running more boost (over 21) it might not be as good as lets say a buschur kit. only real prob. with the injen is the canister itself. everything else is awesome. i believe injen designed this kit to be quiet.

btw, 17x10 wheels are in!!!!

bushur exhaust is way cheap!!! it might flow good but everything is slip fit & not stainless.. i'm not impressed with it...... but i also thought i heard someone say this weekend that 272 cams suck so beleive what you want.

well if anyone cares i put in the c16 today & bumped up the boost to a moderate 24psi it feels pretty good.... i raced a 750cc bullet bike on 7th east & he couldn't pull away from me..... wwwaaahhhooooooooo. i've got to get my head studs in so i can really get the boost flowing..

I second that. I was very un-impressed. It was just a waste of time and money on my part.

I thought maybe I was the only one that was feeling this way. I am happy with how my tune turned out but not sure it was worth his attitude, especailly Sunday morning.

well new muffler is on. my car felt like it lost a 100 whp!

j/k! no more constipation sound anymore! and it seems to be faster but who really knows. it's really not that loud. at idle it's louder but at cruising speeds it seems to be the same. at wot.... well you figure it out,

btw the new wheels look pretty nasty with the 275's on them. couldn't be any tighter in the rear. the front though i have plenty of extra room.

Well, I disagree with that comment to an extent. Al definitely was not there to entertain or answer questions, but he did do a good job tuning. My car is pulling so much harder now. Over all, I am very satisfied. Look at other competitors pricing and results.
