I don't think you are close. If i kept the stock motor and just swapped the Red for the Black at the same boost level I would make a min of 40hp. But I'm upgrading cams, going to a high compression 2.4L, larger cams, and instead of 30psi I'm going to be running 37+psi. I expect to be 125hp more at a min.

6) 3.5'' ets kit
7) perrin intake

will run on 93octane, at around 23psi for now (stock clutch) on a mustang dyno.
also, how much of a diff would the gsc S1's make on this setup?
that's a hard one to guess at because mustang dyno's can differ wildly so I'll give it a stab with dynojet numbers since they aren't altered by the operator so much.

likely upper 300's and lower 400 with the S1's

2.4 10:1 e85 at full boost with all of that ported goodness...I think it has the potential for 600 at full tilt

Johnny did 625/515 with 9:1, off the shelf S2s, and a stock head at 37psi.

I would put yours slightly over Luke, but I am superstitous and wont say the number out loud.

All I'm saying is I think it will be more than that! I don't have a ****ing clue what it is going to do. I know it will do 600-700, where in between I have no clue. That is what I was asking.

Nope, not showing off mods. If I was showing off mods I would make a huge thread just for myself! Thank you though!

i went up to 330whp (+40) on crower cams alone from my previous tune, dont always go by what the book tells you... i love them they have excellent mid range power.

im going to say 722/604!

mark my words....more 2.4 builds will happen 1 year after your numbers are released than have been done over the last 3 years combined!

GSC S-omething, Magnus v5, FP Black......6k rpm to 8k rpm will be fun

I Just got my Evo 9 tuned and I was dissapointed in the numbers. dyno dynamics dynamometer. 22psi, whp was 281.6 and torque 298. seems a little low. I have a injen intake, nisei fmic. uicp and lower incp, perrin high flow cat. perrin downpipe. hks ti carbon exhaust. Hallman mbc, and deatschwerks 750cc injectors, walboro 255lph. when they were done tuning I started my car to leave and it was knocking. found out they injectors they just installed 2 of them were loose. could this have effected the tuning thus less horsepower? my cousin has the same exact set up minus the injectors, tuned at the same place and has 337 whp and 365 torque. any suggestiions? boost leak?

if the car was knocking yes the ecu will pull timing and in return you get less power.
if the injectors were loose they could been leaking out boost so yes that can also cause loss of power. a boost leak can cripple a car powerwise depending how bad it is.

This my Evo9 build.

FP Green HTA73 turbo, ported
FP 4R cams
FP beehive springs
ARC intake
FP Evo 8/9 3.25" / 84mm Intake Pipe
Ported stock EM
HKS turbo outlet
3" TBE, no cat
Greddy 24R FMIC
65mm ported TB
Ported stock IM.
Walbro 255
PTE 1000cc injectors
HKS BOV with recirc kit
ARP headstuds

Will get an ECU reflash and tune to 96 octane on a Dynojet.
Stock bottom and thinking how much max RPM and boost I should push? Car gets tracked often and conditions are hot and humid.

what do you think ill make on the dynojet??

mods: Kelford 272I/E cams, RC Enginering 750cc injectors, walbro 255lph FP Red, Buchur Deluxe 24.14.3.8 inch intercooler, all hard I/C pipes, evo 9 BOV, FP intake, Coated megan O2 turbo outlet, 3"down pipe, cat delete, HKS Ti Exhaust, MBC.

Either IVEY or Turbo trix will be doing the tune on the factory maf/ecu . I have not yet decided. they have both done tunes for me and I was satisfied with both. Im just waiting on my intake pipe to come in.....

What real WHP/TQ #'s should I be expecting??????

If only on 93 octane i would guess high 300s whp and mid 300s torque. It will all depend on the tune.

those are almost the same EXACT mods that i have. I have a cat, I had a stock fmic when i got tuned, and it was a mustang dyno....my numbers are in my sig. you should be over 400hp and probably close to 400tq on a dynojet but as buchnerj said, it will depend a lot on the tune. good luck, im curious what your numbers are gonna be. if you dont mind, shoot me a pm when you get tuned
