But the good thing here is that you still have detergents that will keep everything clean in there and free of corrosion.
one thing to remember is that detergent are important the have many fuctions and one of them is keep the internals free of oxidation.
So the AMO 10w40 is basically like a street strip oil that has the detergents to keep the internals clean, but has the correct amounts of zinc and phos to protect the bushings in a FP Black or FP Red turbo.

I noticed that Mobil 1 4T 10W40 was on the yellow list and I'm going to search for it here in Oz .
The Zinc and Phosphorus levels are quite high and although its called 4T Racing it does actually have detergents in it .
It isn't cheap and thats possibly because it isn't designed to be cheap .

Yeah, it looks like AMO 10-40 is THE oil to get for stock block/FP turbo.

Off topic, but congrats on picking up Jack's transmissions as a sponsor. My tranny was rebuild by Jacks and

Even though its more expensive, I would rather buy the quarts than bulk oil. Sometimes there can be a little sediment at the bottom of the drum, and you wouldn't want to suck that up if you're pulling oil straight from the bottom.

Thanks bro. Jacks did an excellent job on my Tcase with the ACD removal, and sent it back to me in brand new condition. The tcase stood up to the beating that I gave it on stock motor, and it will do the same when I get my motor built. They also supplied me with the parts to rebuild my trans the first time, but this time I'm going to let them take care of it. Defnitely some good guys over there at Jack's.

Whoa! Time to do the math. Would definitely be beneficial for somebody who tracks their car all the time.
