he put a new air filter, jk, mitsubishi just has a bad policy on existing owners they dont care because once they have you thats it. on an other note my friend with a wrx was talking about how much better subaru is than mitsubishi when it comes to warrenties, but then when he got an oil change they got oil in his turbo melting the seals and now he has to get a new turbo with his own money because he has an exhaust. he said the only reason they did not void his warrenty was because he was friends with the manager. i dont think that we have it as bad as we would like to think.
good luck

here, 408-859-1624. its my local BAR employee. tell him Tim with the black SRT4 gave you the number. complain about poor service, about them being dishonest, and about their not getting the job done. he will head on down there and get it straightened up for you. i know he did for me at SOUTH COUNTY CHRYSLER

Sorry to hear man. You would think with a community like evom a dealership might not get a promising sales trend if word got out there as hopefully yours does. FYI, I have yet bought a car from a local dealership due to sh*t* sales or service dept. Good luck.

if all they are replaceing is the O2 sensor that is completly unacceptable. from trying to deny the claim because of hids to takeing 2 weeks to replace it. unless the sensor was on galactic backorder there is no reason for this. I think this is a poor dealership more than a mitsubishi issue. find another dealer to take your car to in the future

Capital Mistubishi is notorious among NorCal Evo owners for having **** poor service and deceptive sales. Sounds like they're still up to their old tricks.

I am in the middle of a similar thing....Car has been at the dealer for over a week for a RIGHT OFF THE FLOOR oil pump seal problem. The issue has been since day one. I just tried to pinpoint it myself for a week or two. They told me that my exhaust was going to be an issue. Whatever....They can only deny service if an aftermarket part caused the issue at hand. So they are fixing it!

I also complained to the dealership manager that I just bought a damn near $40K car from him and I don't expect to be treated like I just bought a Mirage.

Good luck bro. Unfortunately, it is a way for Mitsu to cut their losses when the cats who jack their car up racing or some other abuse, try to get warranty work done.

Kris

Then you should have. Mitsu includes all oil changes and such, however they wil never see my car. A $250 O2 sensor paid fr by yourself is cheaper than 6 weeks without your car.
