Ok so its time to get a new car, looking at 03 cobra or the 03 EVO

I already posted on my fellow stang boards and obviously the 03 cobra is winning in the poll.

So can you guys sell me on the EVO?? Whats the disadvantages if any. and what would be the first few mods i should do to this thing??

How much should i expect to pay for one??
And looking for some *****in pics of the new EVO

What did you have before? What do you like to do? Drag Race? AutoX? Road Race? Just cruise...what are your plans. Each car has benefits and downfalls. Personally i'm not a mustang fan...so I can't speak to well on that. The evo Feels great, runs great, has an unbelieveable amount of potential. The cobra is a badass car, especially since they went back to the iron block. it is going to be faster in a straight line, evo will handle better. I haven't driven the cobra so I can't comment on how it feels. But I will tell you the EVO feels amazing, very tight, crisp turn in...great fun. Just "feels" good. I was amazed...and impressed every day I drive it. It has the power of a high performance car, it's nimble like a sport compact...just overall well worth every penny.

 

you are in the wrong place if you think we are going to sell you on a car, that's the job of a car salesman... read the numbers, take a test drive and decide for youself...

My current car is a 96 gt vert with saleen body kit, rebuilt forged motor 02 heads and intake over 15gs into the car.

Im just looking for something thatll handle like a dream still have good straight line ability, good gas mileage cheaper insurance.

LOOKS, pimpin it around town. It seats 4 more comfortably doesnt it?

Motor Trend did a multi-car test last month. Included were the Evo and the SVT Cobra - the results might surprise you. Good source for info and side-by-side comparison of stock units.
