Is that Redline MTL you're referring to?

Evo doesnt have a deicated reverse gear. So this is actually normal. I put the car in 1st then R or 2nd to R

To get mine in reverse, I just let the clutch out, then push it back in. This gets the fly wheel moving a bit. It will click right into gear after doing that.

Didi you get a chance to change to this fluid? I would like to know how the tranny is feeling after using it.

I just picked up my car today, and driving home i noticed that upshifting sometimes if i didnt wait a second in between gears, the revs would hang and the clutch would grab it, was really pissing me off, is it possible im just not used to the throttle and it stays open a second after i let off the gas?
Could be i just wasnt used to the car yet but it really pissed me off since im trying to baby this clutch for now

Also is there a type of clutch delay valve in these cars? i think that would help a lot with smoothness?

there's already a clutch pill that ensures the clutch doesn't engage abruptly. Its also the reason for the high engaging point on the pedal. Search for more on the forums if this is what you're looking for.

So basically this clutch pill works as a delay valve?

If its anything like the bmw delay valve, it will make a huge difference.

Just got a new evo and the gears grind so bad that if I didn't know about this post I would probably take it in for repairs, but seems like its normal. Other than the grinding / sloppy gear box (coming from hondas) the car is amazing.
