And notice, they gave a very generic review of the car. All they said was "its better yay!" but didnt go into detail about driver feel or any exact instances when you feel the difference. Plus if its a mule thats 18 months away like they claim, i highly doubt that the mule had the "electronic center console" they claimed or any of the plush interior accomadations. Give me a break, just another rumor article that a website is using to promote themselves with. Plus they dont discuss anything about the engine specs or how it felt. Why? Because they didnt really testdrive it thats why. Sorry to be the bad guy, but im 90% sure this is a fake review.

We don't know if the mule has the current 4g63, which my guess is it does, so why would they bother commenting on an engine that won't be in the X?
We've all seen the pictures of the test mule, so why do you find it so hard to believe they got a chance to drive one?

The new braking set-up only interrupts when you've exhausted the limit of the S-AWC's ability to maintain traction, so when you've finished having fun, bringing the Lancer back into line is easier than before.
When it does go on sale, expect the Lancer to offer the option of a six-speed automated manual transmission with race-style paddleshifters.
Meanwhile, the new Active Brake Control(ABC) system can supply a braking force to each wheel to stop slides and sideways movement.

Better still, the steering remains as natural and progressive as on the Evo IX, and enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that the hi-tech systems cannot totally restrict slides. oh and here notice how they discuss how the interior WILL look, meaning that the mule they drove doesn't have all those interior features the X will have
Inside, the new cabin will be a huge improvement over the current model's. Higher-quality materials will feature, and there will be more equipment, including an on-board multimedia system. Not only will this display details about the in-car entertainment and sat-nav, its screen will also show real-time information on the status of the S-AWC system.

I wouldn't be so sure that the Skyline will blow EVO X just like that (and to also consider the price difference)... Skyline will have a larger engine but it will also be a heavier car... From all the reading and actual interviews about the EVO X design I gathered, it seems they put huge emphasis on body weight reduction (aluminium parts of the body, aluminium engine)...
And one thing needs to be remembered is that the EVO X has/is being design in Europe which is a huge plus as the California studios produce overweight bloated vehicles lately. It will be quite refreshing to get away from the American designs to something more European... As long as Americans won't touch the EVO design EVO X will be the best one yet...

all I have to say.. is look what they did to the Eclipse's.... they went straight down hill... took the turbo and AWD away, made it a "Ribbed for her pleasure" and then made a lame attempt at making the eclipses back to something tuner friendly... a FWD Mivec v6 engine.... and its ugly as hell to boot. Stick with the VIII's and IX's... they are the shizzle...
I recieved info from a Subaru rep that the WRX and STI will stay the same although new models will be available for the lineup. From what I hear, an even cheaper WRX model than the TR (more decontented). And a more of a luxury model for the WRX STI, suposedly softer suspension, less aggressive rubber, more sound deading material, a small or no wing, leather, and moonroof. I also hear the Legacy Spec B GT will get a six speed.
I hear nothing from Mitz.
I hear nothing from Mitz.

Also agree.
None of us are completely sure of the price difference of these two future cars yet...but most likely the EVO X owner will have plenty of $$$ leftover to make their car better or use it for something else.
