This makes me wonder what I need to do to my VIII to make it ready to sell, so I can get the X. Some say that the IX is the best evolution that will come to the states, I think that they are wrong.

NASIOC is one of the closest brand specific forums I've ever been on.

And for the record, before I totalled my WRX tonight, I didn't think it was on par with STi in terms of speed, but after the sway bars, it was definitely a close bet on handling/suspension.

Comments like that don't earn you friends buddy, they just show how much you let your MODE OF TRANSPORTATION go to your head.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you want the brutal no comprimise car, then the EVO IX is for you. If you want the refined no comprimize car, buy the EVO X.

I'll be happy to keep both, and then figure out how to get a EVO 6 so I can own the EVO 6,8,10 combination....

Only people stating that the IX is the best evolution are the owners. Just as the IX is better than the VIII, the X will be better than the IX. There's really nothing to believe otherwise. SMG is better than a manual tranny. Aluminum block is lighter than an iron one. The new AWD system is better than the current one. Really, where is the fault that leads anyone to believe that the IX will be better?
