I'm not SERIOUS about driftin, just want to know that if I want to do it. I can. I want to be able to throw my car left then right really fast and throw the assend out and not have the AYC/ACD correct it for me.

In that article in Forbes, what did they mean by "As our car reviewer Michael Frank wrote last April in his Test Drive of the 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (our pick for best performance sedan under $30,000), it corners "nearly as quickly as a $47,795 BMW M3 coupe, and scoot[s] to 60 mph in only five seconds flat." I thought the EVO outhandled the M3 ? With 4 wheel drive and track suspension, how could it not ?

 

What do you expect from Forbes. They try to cover everything for every twit with more dollars then sense.. Not everything you read is true.. Just look at 90% of the garbage written around the 'net..

I dont see why all the guys gotta be hating on the mr , its the evo's brother. It will be coming but at a price. I cant wait to see some on the road, well roadcourses atleast.

This dealer seems to know the difference between the 04, RS, and MR. I gather there's a couple of clues here. He seems to know the arrival date for the 04's, and perhaps may know about the MR ? Is there any information about the performance enhancements for the EVO 8.5 MR compared to the EVO VIII? Al I have reaad is that power is up and torwue is up, but until they ship, no one knows. I wonder if it will be like the STi where it is almost like you won't want to modify it due to all the parts being the manufacturer's performance parts...

 

I do drive an EVO and I love it too death. But all of you guys talking about the EVO MR is driving me crazy!! Read the facts...why would Mitsu bring over the MR?? They are a dying company that is not only in trouble financially but in popularity, no one is buying there cars. In what articale did you all read from Mitsu itself saying that they are going to bring over the MR all that you know is some guy that writes car reviews said he talked to some people that said they were going to bring it over. It is not going to happen, dont get your hopes out if you are a potential EVO buyer do not wait for the MR go ahead and get a 2003 because there probably not even be 2004 EVO's thats is I am done
