***ECUFlash Now For Base Lancers!***
I just oredered my cable the other day, I am curious though has anyone dumped the 02-03 rom for an automatic? I am an auto sadly but would love to tune my care this way not only for the knowledge but because I am going turbo and will not only save me money but probably give me more gains over the piggy back. so has anyone pulled the auto rom yet?
Post it up. Just be sure that you include all the details about your car: year, model, manual or auto, etc. That way others may be able to use the metadata file created for their own ROM.
alrighty guys, here is my rom, I just need a def file for it. here are the relevant stats.
2003
lancer oz
Automatic
eveything else should be common info that you guys would know. need anything else let me know, cannot wait to start tuning.

well it now lets me see the data but the units are all messed up. like rpm and load are all just a bunch of random numbers. same goes for the timing table, the data itself though appears to be good though, will this affect my flashing since I know what the units are or does this need to be fixed?

If the units are messed up, then it sounds like the memory addressed is incorrect, and that that def file won't work with your ROM. I'm currently working on someones 03 AT rom.
What loads are you guys rescaling the timing / fuel maps to? Or has anyone actually tried to use the OEM ECU for complete engine management yet? This is a preliminary map that I just threw together for like 8-11lbs of boost.
WARNING.. Do not put on your car! untested maps, I dont even own a lancer but I've got a friend who is interested in getting tuned. I've got some experience with ECU Flash.. Just an idea here.. comments please.. anyone want to discuss?
Also, it looks like their are no definitions for the MAF Scaling table yet. I'm guessing this might be necessary to use the MAF for measuring higher loads. Discuss?

wow, someone just told me that even at 11psi it just barely overruns the 100% column. Ok, back to the drawing board. I guess I'll just rescale to 120% load instead of 150%. this will be better anyhow as there will be more break points that will make for more granularity.
