Nobody has a lap time anywhere? Did they sign something to that effect to get the car?

So the price you guys posted there vs the RS USA price as an argument against it in performance is meaning less. Hence my "So" is more valid. lolololol

But it stills "weighs too much" by your logic. So, as long as the car makes more power and goes faster, weight is fine? You're making a terrible point here. The FoRS was also the only manual trans in that race. The Golf R would be much closer if it wasn't an auto..
I have owned evos since 2008, and my current car is under 3000 lbs with full interior. To me there is a night and day difference in it vs a 3400+lb. X. It accelerates better, brakes harder, and turns sharper. And the Focus RS looks to be heavier than the X.
You literally couldn't have gotten any more ridiculous with what you just said. "In the hot hatch segment, it's OK that "car A" weighs 3500lbs, but "car B" at 3450lbs is too heavy and needs to lose weight." Gtfo...
The posted weights I have seen for the Focus RS are 3552 and 3525. Until one lands on US shores we will not know for certain, but historically US cars weigh MORE than their UK counterparts.
neh the USA prices are extensively lower then EU or AU etc. so the the Price for the Merc would be different a lot lower here. Probabaly that is one reason why its not here...

Yes, IMO a 3400-3500 lb. hot hatch is too heavy. I speculated that the A45 chassis itself is lighter than the Focus RS. There is a wide variety of weights posted for the A45 on the internet, some as low as 3300 lbs.
