You mean the one that weighed in at 3459lbs?

As in under 3500lbs?

As in less than an Evo X?

(I see where you went with your post)

I mean we don't know if the car C&D tested was pre or post production, euro or USDM spec, or what. http://www.caranddriver.com/ford/focus-rs

Here are 2 other sites that list it as 3525 lbs.

Time will tell.

I can't believe the bloodbath over 65 lbs. RS weight variance.

I think trying to source out the actual curb weight is worthwhile. Even though I personally consider both 3459 and 3525 as heavy.

Brilliant use of the weight of a car from the mid-90s.

Well with the Focus RS turning into almost a 2017 car what else to talk about? The Evo x is fat and so is the Focus RS. Fat is easy for manufacturers to do. Power is plentiful and modern tires and suspensions can deal with the flab.

As to arguing over a car we won't buy, with availability and the lifespan of the body, most won't own this anytime soon.
