I just find it interesting that the world testers are having a field day evaluating and testing a US manufacturers vehicle and we just sit here and watch. That's like Honda making the NSX here in the US and we get to play with it first before the long boat ride to Japan. I mean how well would that be received.

yes, but the RS made in the EU, and these test comes form the EU. So for me is not surprising.

Ford has tested the Focus RS on the ring on at least 2 separate occasions, yet "decided" not to post any results.

I just feel like someone in marketing decided what to reveal and what not to.
Because 99.9% of the people that will buy the car don't care.

I don't think that is the case at all. Performance car, so who buy them want to know data. Its always been and always be the case.

There are countless post about 1 tenth of the sec differences or 20 lbs or so differences or 10 hp difference etc. You know that

Best example for that is this thread, lololololol

Actually I think a very few people doesn't really care too much of the stock/magazine numbers. ( one of them is me, other wise I would have never bought an Evo...)

I am more of the possibilities guy. Like what can I get out of this car, and for how much.
Now that is the big question for the RS has to face in the near future.

I disagree. Unless I'm buying a track car, I don't care.

I think you are forgetting how small of a group/market we are. I've talked to three people that put orders in and all they know is the horsepower and that it has a drift button.
They couldn't care less what it weighs.
If I asked all the people I know, that own performance cars, how much their cars weigh, I bet 1% would know.
Hell, I don't even care how much the RS weighs.

Hell, even a good amount of people that go to track days don't know that. To most it doesn't matter. Unless they own a Lotus, then they can't stop talking about it.

I've had some funny conversations in the paddocks over the years.

Razor and Amby, you guys are one of those who argued the most about weights, and now saying you dont care about weights.
Lol... Classic.

i am not saying you are the most who argued, Just def. one who interested, which makes perfect sense. Specially when it comes down to performance cars. No one really cares weight with other cars i know that.
Hence the reason why we drive tanks today.

But when it comes to performance cars, the numbers matters for most people, which is absolutely logical.
If i am right you have a miata. Which crowed specially about weights... lol

No. Nemsin is the one with the huge concern about the weight. According to him every car should be a lotus. Amby and Razor were arguing with Nemsin that his point is unfounded and unrealistic...

Stop being Rob, Rob.

You can't even follow your own conversations and you don't even know who said what.

Just stop...

First you post:

If you can't even remember what you posted from a post ago, how do you expect anybody here to respect anything you say, stop with this drivel... it's like having conversations with a six year old sometimes.
