It needs to be a homologation special from some sanctioning body. If it isn't then the cork is out of the bottle and pretty soon we are talking heated steering wheels. Race genes are what makes the difference.

there are tons of motorsport other then WRC does homologations.
Porsche just kept the manual in 911 R and does homologation ( very strong way like the Mitsubishi did with the Evo, almost the entire car is homologated)...
Hope the trend just will grow in the USA like it does decades in the EU.
RS is a good start ( also comes form EU) .

Ugh that blue is so... weak.
Also, I think you guys are nuts if you think we'll ever see another CT9A/4G63 type car. CAFE requirements, emissions requirements, and the demands of customers for cars to not be chintzy crap boxes will prevent another manufacturer from selling such a car. And a big part of the equation was that the car was severely underrated from the factory, as many Japanese cars were due to the 280 PS gentlemen's agreement. That's also gone.

Mitsubishi extensively testing the SAWC in electric cars in some racing enviroment in years, the engine etc in almost a decade...
You guys think Tesla is fast? Wait until the mitsubishi comes out with an electric performance car with SAWC under it.
i dont think the wait is going to be too long
anyhow looks like Europe waking some monsters up again. Looks like a new Lancia Delta Integrale HF is coming back....

which usually right on spot kills the competition from Ford.

No young guys want to see motors these days, they just want a nice clean plastic finish you can wipe over with a polish cloth and think that's enough work on my car for one week

So i dont know. lol i love the Lime green and Matte black RS colors that would be my choice or of course the White. But since no wide body, the White might would be too commercial looking.
