lol, No one. I am going to mention my 2nd gear issue up when I bring the car in. See how well that goes. Basically its hard to get into 2nd gear a good 40% of the time, I have changed tranny fluid and it seemed better initially, but its back now it seems. I have also tried to adjust the clutch which helped some.

 

wth? The owner of dealership that sold me my evoIX told me the extended 10year/100,000 warranty will be transferrable to second owner if car is sold.

I think he ripped me off too when I bought the car from him. He said, if I sign all the paperwork for a new 06 IX, the car wont have any warranty on it and made me buy the 10year/100,000 deal for $1400.

 

I have seen many members on this board get the synchros replaced under warranty . Well seems like my 2nd gear is going out . With my mods below im sure my warranty is void right ? I do have stock drivetrain and stock clutch if that matters ??

I doubt a dealership will warranty your transmission with your mods. You'll get a really hard time for anything more than a drop in filter and a catback exhaust. Maybe you should just get a shep rebuild?

 

just find a good dealer. i had my 4th and 5th on my viii warrantied and i had a full tbe with hfc on at the time. was fun because 5th wouldnt grind til you were going at least 70 then shifting. good thing the evo can hit 70 on a short road.

my 4th gear syncro go denied at three mistu dealerships, so I gave up and am getting a full shep racing rebuild over christmas time. Oh well it will definatly be worth it, im going to get that rebuild, exedy HD twin disk, every bushing, SS clutch lines, and a short throw all at once, my tranny will feel amazing, id rather do it right than let mitsubishi put in another ****ty gear synchro anyway.

 

I agree , but if i get it fixed for free i dont mind them putting in another bad synchro. At least it will last me another 25,000 miles like these ones in there did .

 

First off putting your mods in your profile is just a dumb thing to do. There have been numerous people on this board who got their warranty voided after they returned their car to stock because MMNA checks evom quite often. Remember that you have to pay to play. Just bite the bullet.

 

well i went to a bad dealership (puente hills) they are retards only one tech there works on evos, they even bent my dp bolt, but they fixed that too but i had to go back. i was surprised they warrantied it. you should call victorville mitsubishi i heard good things about them.
