i remember either reading or seeing it on video
the aluminum roof has no weight bearing capacity that the steel roof does
not that a rack weighs much but the stress of wond resistance etc
i thought of that too when i got the car...a great car to go to the mountains with
then i found out you cant mount a rack...
time for plan B

I run a Yakima roof rack on my MR with no problems. The Q towers sit on the steel sides of the roof, not on the aluminum center panel, so it's no cause for concern.

Drivetrain warranty covers most internally lubricated parts, including the turbo.

Thumbs up Positive Warranty claim

I bought my car roughly about 1month ago. Its an Bone stock 03 RR GSR, It had ~29k on the clock. When I bought it the clear coat on the wing was peeling, steering wheel seams were coming apart, and mirrors were fading a little. I called them awhile back and the in service date of the car was 10/23 and stated the warranty still applied to the car (both 3yr/36k and 5yr/60) so I took it into be looked at on Monday. They had the car for about 20-30min and then called me up to go over it. They are replacing the wing , steering wheel, and having the mirrors repainted at no charge. Just wanted to share my good experience. This is at Mile High Mitsubishi.

Nope, no mods. The car is bone stock. They told me the parts should be in on Friday, but they will need the car for 3days to do the work. Dont ask me how its going to take 3 days to do the work, but they are paying for the rental while they have it.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering if they were going to cover the steering wheel, but they didnt ask any questions or put of a fight. It made my day. I am just trying to get everything fixed that may be under the 36k bumper to bumper warranty before it ends. Anything else that anyone else can think of?
