Doubtful. Salvage title pretty much means it's WYSIWYG.

Does the full warranty transfer to a second owner?

Yesterday I was told by a service guy that, although people who buy brand new Evos from the dealer get 5/60 bumper to bumper and 10/100 powertrain, when the car is sold to a second owner, that person only gets 3/36 bumper to bumper and 5/60 powertrain unless they purchase an extended warranty separately from the dealer.

Anybody have experience with this? Thanks.

When I got mine used thats what they told me, but the first thing I did when I got the car was void the warranty so it doesn't matter to me lol

the 10/100,000 limited does not transfer to the second owner. only the 5/60,000.

On all 04+ Evos, you get the 5yr/60k warranty bumper to bumper. The roadside and free maintenance only stay with the original owner - all other coverages lower to 5/60 or the original term, whichever is less.

I just bought an '03 in January "had the 3 year warranty" and for $200 they certified the car and I got the 100k power train and the 5yr/60k bumper to bumper. Good deal if you ask me. They said it was the first evo they ever certified. I think they will be doing more because people are trading in their 8's for 9's. Although this may come to bite them in the a** as many of these cars get beat by that first owner.

doesn't seem right, the warranty should stay with the car.
