How about hearing from people who have had powertrain claims denied for stock cars?

Its just ridiculous trying to fight with them and calling them a**holes when you are at fault and are just trying of get off cheap?.....they know this and arent stupid which is probably why they are so defensive on warranty claims. Sticking it to the man dishonestly only makes it worse for us honest people who will take the blame if the blame is on our shoulders....

Mitsubishi warranty representative: "Sir, you abused this car, that's why the motor blew"
Me: "No I didn't, I drove it as it was meant to be driven. It's your flagship performance car with almost 300 horsepower, how did you expect me to drive it?"
Mitsubishi warranty representative: "Sir, you should only drive your Evo under 5000RPM and never over 100MPH."
Seriously...what good is a warranty if claims are blanket rejected. My guess is that this idea that all warranty claims are rejected is more myth than fact, but I need data from actual owners to verify.

nice post!Seriously though...why haven't I see a plethora of "they denied the warranty on my stock Evo" threads? Most of the folks here mod, so of course if you have a boost controler and a re-flashed ECU they're gonna tell you to take a hike. what about bone stock?
Let's here from those who have been "down that road".
