So an Evo slept with a new 06 Eclipse, and that is what we get....ummm ick. Its like that picture booth at the movie theaters that can tell you what your kid could look like with the 2 people it takes the picture from - you end up with something ugly.
Theres so many EVO X "pics", photochops and computer images out there that i dont know what or who to believe.
I think we will see the real EVO X in a couple of weeks at the frankfurt auto show...at least thats what i have heard off

ha.. the evo X will be hot, it will out perform the current evo plus looks way better. The IX is already one of the ugliest expensive cars in the world... so i dont know what he complaint is about. Mitsu has all of that rally heritage to put to use in designing the new model to make it better then ever, they arent going to take a step back.
Here is some of the bad news, R& D info on the new 2.0
Clever stuff
"The plastic intake manifold has equal-length runners with electrical flow control valves that, when closed, increase air tumble by blocking over half the intake port. Over 3,200 rpm, the valves are opened to allow full airflow. The valve cover is also composite (plastic) and has a variety of vibration-reducing seals."
Soulds like junk to me.........
Its kind of like what VW did a few years back, The Old 1.8 16V & 2.0 16V where geat motors !!! Then thay whent Super Cheap !!! the newer 1.8 T is junk, With some of the crap-est parts I have ever seen, Tons of Plastic parts, when you should use some type of steel, Just to save a few $$$$$$ I would never buy another VW. I drove them & loved them for years.....
