That certainly makes sense. Steven, you're a manual lancer, right? go evo rom bro!

Make sure you don't floor it yet. I can see easily that the timing map will probably knock.

I think its at 408 as of right now and I raised it earlier to 416. not sure but my afrs are still staying at 10.0 when im about to go in boost, I cant seem to lean it out. but when im idling afrs are around 14.7-15.0 which I will take that. its just the boost thing. Also how can i lower my ilde down to 800 something rpms?

Here are the logs from evoscan
Steven are you still running the stock lancer rom or have you switched to the evo rom yet? Makes me wonder why your cel is blinking while in boost unless your using an evo rom with the cel flash on knock.

He's running a v7 rom with stock ignition tables. It will be fine to cruise but it certainly will knock when he floors it. I'm going to remap it to something safe for him shouldn't take me long :P

Edit:

Remapped the whole rom pretty much to more stock like drive settings.

I haven't played with the idle yet but thats super minor compared to making it run and not knock.

These timing tables were good enough for me on 91 octane at 27psi. They are my safety maps, not very powerful, but usually pretty good at removing knock. I expect you can probably run more timing than i got in them but we will see :P

ok so, flashed it when I got off work this morning, started, and it idled pretty good afrs were constant of 14.6-15.0 they wouldnt fluctuate alot. put it in gear and drove, accelertated pretty good, and when I came to a stop it almost died on me. drove up to the stop light samething but it didnt happen as bad. Drove for maybe 5 mins up the road to a gas station because the cel came on. so I scaled the injectors to 406, started the car and once again idle is great but cant rev it because it went rich. So I rescaled them back to 412 and unhooked the battery and plugged it back in, started the car and idle was great again, reved it a little went rich but not to bad as before, started off driving let off the gas, car didnt die idle went back to normal, the wideband just had dashes when I let off the gasbut it went lean and if you let it sit for 3-5 seconds it goes back to 14.8-15.0 afrs. Did a few boost runs no check engine light but I think when I was in boost up to 2-3 psi my afrs were aroun 12.5-13.5 idk maybe it didnt catch up quick enough but I have it logged. Did another boost run same psi didnt look at the afrs but I still have it logged.

Thanks road spike!!! let me know how I can repay you because this tuning thing is killing me, I only understand the basic stuff.

heres my logs

Looked over the logs. Think what I'll do is pump up the injector scaling even more and mess with the low end maf to pump some fuel into the low low mid range section before it gets too rich. Its definitely curving downward like the injectors are much bigger so we will see

Edit, nvm....you have the AEM UEGO...so you'll need to connect the proper wires to a serial connector, and plug that up to your laptop (if you don't have a serial port, you'll need a usb to serial adaptor)

and how do you set it up? do you just connect the pins to the wires or something? I think I have a blue and a white wire that hangs off the side of the wideband

And when connecting the wires to the pin do i just use something that will hod it in place and then click start logging and it should work?

03lance that item is from hong kong lol I cant wait that long for that item even though its super cheap. pLus I need to log my afrs asap
