Is that the only color you can get? I like it but I also like options. CBRD has one pre ordered think ill wait to see what data they release about it to jump on it.

Engine Block Heater ???

According Ford's configurator, there is white, black, and dark gray, and the nitrous blue.

I'm pricing out north of $40k (blue paint, sunroof, better tires). Tack on SoCal market adjustments and it'll probably be close to $45k OTD.

How can it be 3200 when the Focus ST, like I stated, is 3,230lbs already? lol

I am betting around 3,380 or so. 150 lbs for the awd system, larger brakes and maybe slightly larger engine?

no clue. you would need to ask the person i quoted LOL. all i know is that with the HP rating and the 0-60 times, i'd have to assume it's pretty damned heavy.

I'm not spending $2k on better tires and different wheels when I will likely be putting 18's on the car anyways when It comes time for new tires. Going to wider tires on 19" wheels will lead to quite a limited selection of tires. Example: 265/30r19, there is only one Extreme performance summer tire on tire rack in that size. And I would hope that the wheel wells have room for 265's..

I'd look at the current Focus ST for what kind of tires/wheels you can stuff under there since it's the same setup.

Also I will be VERY surprised if it's the same weight as a Golf R as Ford basically copies the Golf and Polo for Focus and Fiesta, respectively, however the Golf R uses lighter weight materials, but both use haldex derived AWD systems.

The MK7 Golf R is 3,340lbs.

If the Focus RS ends up with a curb weight of 3400+lbs. I would not consider buying one (same reason I never considered an Evo X). Worth the wait to see if the Fiesta RS ends up awd. As it should be a much lighter platform. Power is easy to add. Weight is hard to remove.
