I think I'd quit doing track days if I had to drive a dually. 😂 I have a hard enough time with my Sequoia and 18' trailer LOL

saw a tastefully lowered white dually once, it actually looked nice. it kinda suggests not-for-mud/lawnservice/livestock and/or im-over-5'2"/own a business/showers daily

It isn't lowered, stock everything suspension wise. But yes people look at this and start to question how much mud they'd bring into it lol. But It's built specifically for livestock by them guys in Texas lol.

Guess I never posted my rollback trailer here. Picked it up almost a year ago now and has been working great. The bed slides off the frame by backing the truck up and it's got a super low approach angle. I love not having to **** with ramps.

Looks great @Ayoustin . I think I like the compactness of the uhaul rental trailer. urban dweller ya know. the ramp almost dont matter if winching to load i think. I havent tried. i have a stupid clutch that dont like to be feathered so winching could be required for me

Man, I wish my trailer were that low. I'm torn because, with my deck height, I don't have to remove trailer fenders to open the cars doors (my old trailer was a nightmare in that way). But .. I'd rather not need ramps.

You can get trailers that have easily removed fenders

I use the race ramp trailer mates, you roll up a 2 or 3 inch lift and it holds the car in place in the dip. Allowed my door to get above the fenders with my open trailer. Acts as my guide/holder/lift in the enclosed so I can get under the car to attach straps.

Some doors clear the fenders fine, for the ones that don't the fenders are only held on with 4 wingnuts so they only take a minute to remove.

Mine were heavy. Then I'd bolt everything up and realize I needed to get into the car. Again. And again
For me race ramps > removing fenders.
Trailers are about deciding which inconvenience you prefer to deal with.

QQ guys: while loading the car, trailer attached to the tow vehicle, can the trailer jack be jacking up the trailer for stability?

Thats how my buddy does it. He has to get pretty steep cause the ATC Toyhauler has a really high floor (above the tires). And thats with the longest race ramps.

With my normal enclosed, I just use my wooden extensions and it fits as long as I tighten the splitter rods to pull it up.

As for mounting in the trailer, I just have the front straps fixed length. Drive on and pull forward an extra foot. Then reach down and connect to the frame rails with the T-hooks. The straps run back mostly straight so left/right a few inches doesnt seem to matter.

Always. In open/any trailers it helps tilt the trailer down to help the angle. You might bounce depending on the trailer and how fast you come in but normally not an issue.

Yes, but it can be hard on the tongue jack depending on how far up you have to go. A good alternative is to get the "oil change" ramps from Harbor Freight and back the truck's rear tires onto them.
