Well I can say a NEW YORK freeze is worse and that sucker starts right up. I did have to locate/buy a 3/4" flex line to go from the hardline coming out of the ground to the generator because a diameter restriction would be devastating at the distance I was from my home feed line. I can post some pics here if you like of my setup. It started at 2F out, and ran for three days straight without issue a year or so ago. I put it far enough away from the house with a vinyl fence wall (to block it and the pool equipment) that you can barely hear it. The first year our house was built we lost power SIX TIMES, and that is what made me take on the project. That was 10 years ago, and it still works great.
Highly recommend Predator generators with a natural gas conversion.
My new motor is coming out soon i think so im done working this, Project Looney Bin. Wanna do a sound comparison?
So, since I failed tech inspection for that evap canister leak (looks fixed with a new gas tank cap) and exhaust leak, I went to local place to check it out. Apparently, I have a hole in the cat and need a new one. They are asking $600 for Magnaflow OEM type replacement, so I am looking for other options here.
Would going for one of the high-flow cats be better off? MAP seem to have them around $300, but I am not sure if those would pass inspections and trigger CEL. This is still my daily driver and racing is far secondary at this point. Yet, I was racing this one in DSc so some of the mods would finally make me to go to STU!
If you care about having a legitimate high flow cat, G-Sport cats are EPA certified. STM and ETS both make high flow cats for the Evo 10 using G-Sport cats.
Might be a little louder than stock. They don't mention a torque rating unfortunately. I think I'm making 380lbft on E85 and this 71hta spools faster than stock, which is a lot for any gear. Not sure how anyone on a 6spd runs a bigger turbo than near-stock.

I'm running the Neat Gearbox 4th gear in my 5 speed gearbox, been holding up very very well.
I popped 4th gear on the track with around 400whp. The torque rating is much higher than OE Mitsubishi, it will be a great option for you
Doing a brake upgrade at the moment on the Evo, i'm now outdriving what's currently on the car.
Being full weight (1420kg with driver and fuel - 3124lbs) doesn't help either!
Going from a 7.1kg disc to a 9.1kg disc, Girodisc custom made me a 350x35mm rotor with large 64mm annulus.
Using a set of Endless RacingMONO6 calipers that I had on the shelf using RD62mm pads and 25mm thickness.
Should make a big difference with the extra weight to better control the temps.
And they will fit under my 17" rims. Advan RG4, Advan TC4, Advan GT. WedsSport TC105X. They all **just** fit!
Running 20mm spacer helps move the caliper to the tapered part of the barrel for more clearance.

nice! though i imagine the Neat 4th in the 5spd is stronger than the neat 4th in the 6.

Thats pretty slick how you left a large hole on the mounting bracket for brake cooling!

I honestly want to put a 6 speed back in mine (I bought my MR already 5 speed swapped) but also worried about the longevity, mine makes ~450whp and 400wtq on a old school FL Green….

These look perfect to run with the 12mm spacers I ordered (2mm "longer" than stock (14-12) so will be fine with my current closed lug nuts).
18x10 +40, with a 12mm spacer up front, so +28, and a 3mm spacer in back, so +37 - will I need the SSB rear trailing arms to run an 18x10 +37 in the rear?

With which tires?
I could fit 265s on 18x10 in the rear with the OEM trailing arm with a little fine tuning. Going to 285s could be a challenge depending on how much camber you're running and how much room you have at the top of the fender.
Also keep an eye on the actual width of tires. Some of the current 285s are a decent amount wider than the 285s of several years back as discussed in all the old forum threads.

yea, thinking 285/30-18. i ordered the arms, might as well.
