I've been thinking about doing the same but I just can't get the nerve built up to do it. Tell them your clutch is slipping too!

Go for it man.. worthless without some footage tho

I just repainted mine. Sanding and some clearcoat. Of course it looked as if someone stabbed my wing with a knife and the clearcoat started peeling around it. Left it that way for a year and a half before I fixed it 2 weeks ago. It started peeling more as time went on and then the cloudiness under the clearcoat started to show really bad.

lmao, i brought mine through the service dept. a couple weeks ago to get a oil filter. it's a huge drive through garage so the lumpy idle was pretty evident and echo'd. the service writer told me i had a vacuum line switched around and that i should get it looked at. when i drove out, i'm sure they noticed my plate "NOWARNT" haha.

whats even funnier is the mitsu waiting area is the worst excuse for a room i've ever seen. but the BMW "lounge", man that was nice, haha.

If you find service mediocre to lousy now, this would help it get worse if a lot of people did it.

I guess it must be funny to waste people's time when they get paid on commision. While we're wasting time on a BS complaint we could be making money fixing something that's really broken.

Orders backordered

The wings were redone and ready from the tennis racket company that did the CF, but they botched the "improved clearcoat" so I hear that continues the wait. You should expect to wait months + for a replacement wing. As for yours one month after warranty, they should take care of you. If not, then owners should protest as a group. 03s 04s and maybe 05s and 6s appear to have thisproblem. People in the less sunny states or who garage them, may find theirs peeling later in the Evos life.

One time buying oil filters, I took the sales guy for a ride after i modified my car and had a little race gas in it. I thought he was gonna **** him self in my car. He went silent for the whole ride. He's about 21 and i was his first car sale too. He was shakeing when i bought the car cause i was yelling at the service manager to let me test drive the car before i bought it.

I did this already. The Tech was like wow your idle is weird. I can check it real quick pop the hood. I open the hood and the look in his eyes was priceless. He was like ohhh i can't help you with this car. Matter of fact you have no warranty, let me grab a pad to check the vin. At that point I jumped into my car and took off. He was going to blacklist my VIN # .

It was funny as heck to see him when the hood was opened up .

that would be great, i toke my car in one time to get the oil changed as well, and when they seen all the mods i was shocked not to hear one thing from the service rep or the mechanics working there. they actually gave me a bill seidle's mitsu chrome liscense plate holder. i was like ook. i cant wait to go in this up coming month to see their faces when they hear the idle with my cams just recently installed
