Who cares how many people know what its capable of or not? They will after you take them for a walk on the racetrack, and if its capable of that isn't that all that matters? I mean the Evo is a drivers car, I certainly didn't buy it for style points. Even now people have no clue what the Evo is really capable of. Hell Most people think my car is a Subaru (Joe Schmo's).

The Evo isn't about making a "statement" or being known as a "supercar". Ever notice when people get in they always comment on the seats? Or once you gas it and show off the awd a bit they are in disbelief? That's more worth it to me, that and the look on the persons face in their "supercar" next to me trying to prove their $300,000 fashion statement can beat me where it counts.

I dig everything other than lack of a clutch, and the dual exhaust tips on a 4 banger. AYC and Skid control and all thouse other driver aids are gonna make it a breeze to push to the limit though.

I'm actually looking forward to it. Not sure if I'd trade the MR tho. Just think about all those times you've missed a shift or slipped the clutch a little too much. I know I've experienced a few. That will all be a thing of the past, sure people are going to have to change the clutch when they want to start making some real power. Let's just hope the stocker can take let's say 400hp and we'd be set. That video showed that car drifting pretty effortlessly as well.

I think alot of people know what its capable of. I think the only people that might not know are those who havent been exposed to the evo like old schoolers here in america. But they are sure getting a reality check from us and the media. For the past 4 years we the public of evo owners have been showing what these cars can do on the track and with all the magazine adds, tv shows, and other articles its getting even more popular.

I also saw a book at barnes and noble that named the 10 best overall cars in the world. The evo was one of them amidst some of the supercars you think about.

But amidst all of this, I think bluebywho articulated it very well in saying that whats more important is that the evo will outperform those $300,000 fashion statements.

WOW, I wonder if someone has read all these pages from the beginning.LOL! Well, I still like the IX better. I like the new mechanics and electronics tech of the X. Trying to let it grow on me but, the X looks like it has personal issues...

Automobile magazine states that the Evo will be 200 lbs heavier and 3.6 inches taller. That is a good recipe for better performance.

Its a car and it has room, not everycar is going to be a japaness box that weights 2500 Ibs. If you want a light car buy a civic, if you can stand a whopping 200 pounds more weight and probably just as good as handling and more power than the previous evo's the X might be alright................
